Bayhill Group owns and operates several companies in Hemavan across retail, food, hospitality and experiences. Our goal is a vibrant destination with service and jobs all year round.
Our story
Behind Bayhill Group are Nils Wikberg and Grete Tuven – a couple with deep roots in Hemavan and a shared drive to develop the village for both residents and visitors.
Bayhill Group grew out of a strong belief in Hemavan and the mountains. Instead of betting on a single business, we chose to build a group that takes responsibility for several parts of the destination.
Today we own and operate companies in retail, groceries, restaurants, lodging, fuel and experiences. Together they create an offering that makes everyday life easier and the mountain holiday more enjoyable.
We are locally rooted and long term. Profits are reinvested into Hemavan – in new ventures, better service and more jobs.

From a single grocery store in Hemavan to a group of companies across retail, food, experiences and property.
Fjällboden is founded
The Wikberg family moves to Hemavan to take over an existing ICA store. Lena and Lasse Wikberg have big plans and name the store Fjällboden.
